Michael Towey has joined Pali as Co-Head of US Equities and is based at the firm's NY headquartes.  Michael works in conjunction with Kevin Fisher to manage all aspects of the division, including overseeing the cash equities execution and fundamental research functions.  Michael has worked in the equities arena for more than a dozen years, most recently at CIBC World Markets Corp. where he served as Head of US Equity Trading, and prior to that as Co-Head of US Equity Research.  Prior to CIBC, Michael was Director of Research at Schwab SoundView Capital Markets.  Michael has also worked at Smith Barney (later Salomon Smith Barney) in both Equity Capital Markets and US Equity Research.  He received his MBA in Finance from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and his BA in Political Science from Colgate University.
